Nze Franklin Iwunze Foundation Marks 12 years of Dedicated Service to Humanity

Doles out 7M empowerment fund to Nkwerre community

Nze Barr. Franklin Iwunze (Ogbuagu Nkwerre) is one rare gem who strongly believes that service to God and humanity is one of life’s most awesome privileges.

He has continued to do so over the years both as an individual and through the Franklin Iwunze Foundation, a non- profit humanitarian organization established to carter for the needy and empower the youths.

Those who have tenaciously followed the business exploits, uncommon selfless community service and political trajectory of the Nkwerre born entrepreneur, philantropist and respected community leader, Franklin Iwunze, will attest to the fact that he has not only remained a constant factor and recurring decimal in the socio- political leadership matrix of Nkwerre Imenyi, but also one of the rallying points for the much needed succour to ameliorate the sufferings of the people across Nkwerre communities by providing funds to productively energize and engage the teeming youths who look up to him for mentorship, leadership and economic empowernment.

For the record time, he has taken a lot of Nkwerre youths out of the streets by practically providing empowernment funds that run into millions of Naira to propel them to start- up their own businesses and economically stand on their own through the Franklin Iwunze Foundation.

During the previous empowerment scheme program in 2023, the duo of Ekwueme Victor Ibezimako, an upcoming Nkwerre based Bongo artiste from the same Amaorji village with Chief Engr. Dr. Chibuike Lawrence Achigbu (Akasha Nwata Nkwerre) and Aggrey Clinton Ugochukwu, another Nkwerre born Aba based fashion designer, were given the sum of One Million Naira; N500,000.00 each, to support their businesses. While Miss Chidiebere Nmezi was given the sum of N250,0000.00 , Kingsley Obioma Ihekowaba (Eze- Elect) from Eziama Obaire was also given N250,000.00 to support his block industry business.

In addition, on February 2024, the Franklin Iwunze Foundation led by its founder; a serial entrepreneur and philantropist of note, Nze Barr. Franklin Iwunze (Ogbuagu Nkwerre) donated over 300 bags of rice to his Umukalu village in Nkwerre LGA as a palliative measure to caution the effect of hardships on them.

From the light of above, penultimate weekend, Saturday, May 4, 2024, the Franklin Iwunze Foundation rolled the drums as it celebrated 12 years anniversary of dedicated service to humanity and contribution towards community development by dolling out a whooping sum of Seven Million Naira empowernment funds to a select lucky Nkwerre women and youths as the Founder, Nze Barr. Franklin Iwunze (Ogbuagu Nkwerre) was given grand reception by the leadership of the Amanano community where the empowerment program took place.

Declaring the ceremony open with the pouring of traditional libation, Chief Nze Albert Anuebunwa (Onye Ishi Nze Amanano Nkwerre), prayed the gods of the land to always protect their illustrious son, Nze Barr. Franklin Iwunze, from whose heart flows the milk of human kindness as he has continued to use his hard earned resources to fund the non-profit Foundation that keeps touching lives over a decade even when he is not occupying any political position or public trust.

He also prayed God to bless him beyond measures and blindfold the mischief makers who shall turn against him for his kind gesture.

During his remarks, President General of Amanano Community, Nkwerre LGA, Nze Uchenna Emenike (Okpata Ozuoha Nkwerre), commended Nze Franklin Iwunze for his visionary leadership and bouyant heart for charity despite being maradonically schemed out in the power play for the soul of Nkwerre State Constituency during the warm-up for the 2023 Imo State House of Assembly election.

thousands of Nkwerre youths; men and women including the less privileged. And he has sustained this empowerment programme for solid 12 years even without holding any political positions or public trust.

While publicly apologizing for the role they collectively played to sabotage the political ambition of Nze Franklin Iwunze to represent Nkwerre State Constituency , he described the serial entrepreneur and philantropist , Iwunze, as a man of impeccable integrity whose word is always his bond, regretting that they sacrificed a good man on the altar of sheer sentiment and political directive beyond their control.

Presenting the cash donation of Seven Million Naira to the lucky beneficiaries as the sum of N50,000.00 was given to the women while the youths received N100,000.00, the Founder of Franklin Iwunze FoundationNze Barr. Franklin Iwunze, maintained that he didn’t come here for politics and don’t play politics with humanitarian outreach like this as what he is doing through the Foundation is a divine mandate given to him by God to touch lives positively.

He has been able to sustain this outreach for an uninterrupted 12 years even when he never had any political ambition. He however, thanked God for the grace and privilege of being used as a vessel to put smiles on the faces of his Nkwerre brothers and sisters across party lines, trusting God to do more as he is blessed with more resources.

Sharing his future plans with Imo born Media Consultant and Publisher of 4th Estate Reporters, Njoku Macdonald Obinna, the uncommon philantropist and respected community leader, Nze Barr. Franklin Emmanuel Iwunze reiterated the commitment of his foundation to do massive empowerment programs for Nkwerre in the coming months and years as God continues to grant him the grace.

The obviously elated beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to their benefactor, Nze Barr. Franklin Iwunze (Ogbuagu Nkwerre), while praying God to keep strengthening him in all his life’s endeavors as many reassured him of their continued support and solidarity believing that he is such a man needed at a time like this to fill the leadership vacuum in Nkwerre.
