Eze Igbo Ghana Congratulates Maduba, other Commissioners,

…says appointments well deserved

The Igbo diasporan King in the Republic of Ghana , His Royal Majesty, Eze Dr. Amb. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu (Ezeohazurume, Global Peace Ambassador), has congratulated newly inaugurated commissioners and members of the Imo State Executive Cabinet from Isu nation on their appointments and sworn- in, describing it as well deserved given by their impressive records of both private and public service.

In a statement signed and made available to THISDAY by the Director on Media Strategy and Communications, Njoku Obinna, it was stated that the Umuduruoha- Amaigbo, Nwangele born royal father, Eze Ihenetu, commended the Imo State governor, His Excellency, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, CON, on the choice of the commissioners, which he described as a mixed breed of the young, middle- aged, and experienced hands.

In his letter, parts of which read inter alia; “I am most elated to felicitate my brothers from Isu LGA and Nwangele LGA respectively, on your well deserved appointments and inauguration into the Imo State Executive Council led by His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma, and I pray for God’s direction, wisdom and strength as you assume office to serve the good people of Imo State through this public trust.”

While extending his best wishes to the Imo Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Chief Cosmas Maduba, Hon. Dr. Chimezie Amadi, Commissioner for Digital Economy and E- Government, Dr. Prosper Obinna Ohayagha, Commissioner for Health and Social Science, Barr. Emeka Mgbedum, Commissioner for Petroleum, and Hon. Modestus Osakwe, Commissioner for Homeland Security.

Ezeigbo Ghana, therefore, called on commissioners to use their exalted positions to implement Governor Uzodimma’s Renewed Hope Agenda as encapsulated in his 3R Shared Prosperity Administration.

Eze Ihenetu said that ndi Imo deserve more development in all facets of life and urged the commissioners to do everything within their powers to prove Governor Hope Uzodimma right on their choice of appointments.

He particularly felicitated the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Chief Cosmas Maduba, on his reappointment and called on him to use his wealth of experience to revamp the agricultural sector in the state.
