Kola Olugbodi Honoured with Prestigious Doctorate Degree by International University of Information Management

In a remarkable recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of Information Management, Mr. Kola Olugbodi, Managing Director of Background Check International, has been conferred with a Doctorate Degree by the International University of Information Management, Colorado, USA.

This prestigious honour was bestowed upon him to acknowledge his unwavering commitment, tenacity, and groundbreaking achievements in the industry.

The President/Chairman of the University Council, Aare Oyedokun Oyewole, praised Olugbodi for his dedication to the growth and development of Information Management, highlighting his remarkable feats as a pacesetter and trailblazer in his chosen field. This recognition is a testament to Olugbodi’s tireless efforts and passion for excellence.

Olugbodi, who is also the Chairman of the Society for Professional Background Screeners (SPBS) in Nigeria, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, emphasising that it is not only a personal achievement but also a reflection of the support and encouragement he has received from his professional colleagues and others.

He vowed to leverage this honour to continue making meaningful contributions to the field and the industry.

A fellow of the Institute of Information Management (IIM), Africa, and the first African member of the Professional Background Screeners Association (PBSA), USA, Olugbodi has a proven track record of excellence. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with a degree in Demography and Statistics and belongs to several professional bodies, receiving numerous awards for his outstanding work. He is also the author of the bestselling book “Through it All,” a motivational and inspirational guide to coping with life’s challenges.
