The National Association of Seadogs (Pyrates Confraternity) has supported GSS Karonmajiji by donating reflective road signage, demonstrating their commitment to humanistic ideals.

It noted that the contribution aligns seamlessly with its mission to champion noble causes and uplift communities in need.

A press statement signed by the association through its Sahara Deck Officer, Olamide Oni, said: “At the heart of their ethos lies a steadfast commitment to fostering positive change and empowering those who need it most. We firmly believe that by investing in education and infrastructure, we can pave the way for a brighter future for all. The signage donated to GSS Karon Majiji serves as a symbol of our unwavering dedication to this cause.

“Yet, as we celebrate this meaningful gesture, we cannot turn a blind eye to the challenges faced by the school community. It is with deep concern that we observe the deteriorating conditions of the school’s infrastructure, coupled with a scarcity of essential resources for both students and teachers. Reports of students sitting on the floor to receive their education underscore the urgency of addressing these pressing issues.

“In light of these circumstances, the National Association of Seadogs hereby calls upon responsible stakeholders to heed our plea for immediate action. Steps must be taken to address the deficiencies within GSS Karon Majiji, ensuring that every student has access to a safe and conducive learning environment.

“As advocates for change, we remain steadfast in our resolve to support initiatives that promote human dignity and social progress. Through collaborative efforts and unwavering determination, we can effect meaningful transformation and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow,” the association said.
