“Changing the Narrative: Ladies Who Golf Redefines Inclusivity in the Sport” – says Founders

Ladies Who Golf, the largest golf community for black women in the United States, is spearheading a movement towards inclusivity and diversity in the sport. Founded on September 16, 2023, by Keyeriah and Lashonda Miles, this prestigious community is transforming the golf landscape across major cities such as Chicago, Dallas, D.C., Houston, New York, and Los Angeles.

Keyeriah Miles, co-founder of Ladies Who Golf, states, “Golf has long been seen as a ‘boys only’ club. We’re here to change that narrative and make golf more diverse and accessible for all women.”

Ladies Who Golf caters to professional career women by offering beginner-friendly group sessions, social engagements, and charitable initiatives, welcoming women from all backgrounds while emphasizing inclusivity.

The community’s success stems from its innovative approach to the sport. By providing resources, mentorship, and promoting mental health awareness, Ladies Who Golf is breaking traditional boundaries in the golfing world.

Keyeriah Miles and Brittany Dawn Damper, LWG’s President of Golf Operations and former collegiate golfer, lead the organization in empowering women through diversity and inclusion initiatives, community outreach, youth mentorship, and wellness events.

“Our goal is to transcend traditional boundaries and create a space where women can excel both on and off the course,” says Keyeriah Miles.

Through expert-led inclusive group sessions and signature social hours, Ladies Who Golf provides a platform for women to develop their skills, forge relationships, and celebrate achievements.

As the community rapidly grows, it continues to impact women’s lives by making golf accessible and enjoyable for all while fostering personal, professional, and social growth.

“We are proud of the community we’ve built and the difference we are making in the lives of women,” concludes Keyeriah Miles. “Ladies Who Golf is about creating a legacy of empowerment and inclusion beyond the game of golf.”
