“Keyamo has successfully resolved trapped funds belonging to foreign airlines, thanks to collaborative efforts with the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Ministry of Finance. This achievement has had a positive impact on the aviation sector and has helped build trust and confidence among foreign airlines.
“Keyamo’s focus has been on supporting local airlines and maximizing Nigeria’s reciprocal rights under international agreements, such as the BASA agreement. This support has contributed to the growth and development of local airlines in Nigeria. His support for our indigenous flight carriers to start international operations has been so commendable.
“Keyamo has facilitated open sky operations with the United States, allowing for unrestricted flights, and deployment of various aircraft to multiple destinations. This has opened up new opportunities for the Nigerian aviation sector and has strengthened international connectivity.
“As members of the Nigerian community in diaspora, it is incumbent upon us to continue our support for the progress and development of our beloved country, because, as democracy is not a spectator sport, but a participatory endeavour, we must all take an active role in shaping our nation’s future irrespective of where we reside.”
