The need for strengthening regional integration to enhance economic growth in Africa was recently reiterated at the Africa CEO Forum that held in Kigali, Rwanda, recently.

Experts from across the continent who gathered for the forum express concern that Africa’s share of global trade was still less than three percent in spite of binding agreements, including African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Speaking at the forum, the Chief Executive Officer of Vivajets, Chukwuerika Achum, noted that factors such as language, political and geographical barriers still limit collaborations and pose a  great challenge to business integration in Africa.

He identified numerous opportunities in business aviation to bridge existing gap and drive necessary growth. According to him, as Africa continues to evolve, the need for business aviation has become increasingly significant.

“Business aviation is a success enabler for the 21st century African leader. It bypasses the common barriers that hinder mobility and collaboration in Africa whilst facilitating connectivity for business and policy leaders across boundaries”, he stated.

Chief Operating Officer of Vivajets, Tejumade Salami further reiterated the company’s determination to foster innovations that would distinguish African leaders in global society.

“We are leveraging innovation to make business aviation more accessible and affordable, thereby democratizing access to an often-exclusive service. Our innovative approach has led to the development of digital platforms CharterXE and FlyPJX, both brands affiliated with Vivajets.

“Our approach aims to democratize access to private aviation, ensuring that more leaders and organizations can harness its benefits,” he said.
