Over 1000 Youths Benefit from Adeboye Foundation’s Digital Skills Scholarship

The Dare Adeboye Foundation in partnership with The Incubator Nigeria, has successfully concluded the first edition of the Future Clan Bootcamp, a 7-day intensive tech training program for over 1000 youths from across Nigeria. This initiative aims to equip young individuals with skills in Content and Copywriting, Data Analysis, Cybersecurity, Product Design, AWS Cloud Computing, and Web Development, empowering them to become ambassadors of positive change in their communities.

The closing ceremony, at the Redemption City of God, Ogun State, Nigeria, was attended by esteemed guests, including Pastor J. F. Odesola, Continental Overseer of RCCG Continent 3; Pastor Oluwagbemileke Adeboye, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dare Adeboye Foundation; Mrs. Eyono Fatayi-Williams, Executive Director, Africa Missions Global; Oluwafemi Femi Oyetunde, Executive Director The Incubator Nigeria; and other dignitaries. Pastor J. F. Odesola, Continental Overseer of RCCG Continent 3, inspired the graduates to embrace their roles as pioneers of digital transformation. “Embrace your roles as pioneers of digital transformation…use your skills to innovate, solve real problems, and create a better future for all,” he said.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Programs Manager for Dare Adeboye Foundation, Wale Olatujoye, highlighted the need to leverage technology as a levelling ground to bridge the developmental gap in Nigeria. He emphasised the role played by technology in the development of countries like USA, UK, China, Japan, and South Korea as well as the strides a Nation like India is making with technology.
