Chimdinma Maduforo Appointed Women Speaks Ambassador

In a ceremony held on the 25th of May 2024 at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution in Abuja, Chimdinma Ruth Maduforo was one of 500 women nominated and appointed Women Speaks Ambassadors; an initiative of 1000 Peace Ambassadors of Nigeria and the UN in partnership with the Republic of Nigeria and IPCR to appoint women advocates who will commit themselves to enhancing and magnifying the voices of women and girls in the community.

The inauguration was widely attended by women from all over Nigeria representing their respective geopolitical locations of nomination.

 Chimdinma Ruth Maduforo is a seasoned professional and entrepreneur in the Nigerian Entertainment industry. She was recognized for her work in management on teams responsible for top stars like Seyi Shay, Ycee, DJ Lambo, Multiple Award-Winning artist Patoranking, and Multiple Award-Winning actress Osas Ighodaro.

Her time with Seyi Shay she lasted 4 years. Seyi Shay is credited for hits like; Irawo, Murda, Crazy, Jangilova, Right Now, Gimme Love, and Yolo amongst others. On SeyiShay’s debut album Seyi or Shay, Chimdinma Maduforo is credited as Co-Executive Producer of the project on the project.

 “Didi” or “Didichiq”, as she is popularly yet fondly known, is a graduate of Cell Biology & Genetics from the University of Lagos, and despite her dreams of a career in forensic science, her work experience from as far back as her school days paved a different yet very defined path for her in entertainment.

Didi sees herself as a multi-faceted individual with a goal of impact stemming from her history in pageantry, professional dance, acting, music, and journalism.

All of her talents were and still are encouraged by her family as she comes from a family of music royalty and creatives.

 She co-founded a consultancy and management company called Link Deeds which provides consultation services to independent artists, power teams, and labels. Her curiosity, hard work, tenacity, and adaptability alongside her warm yet firm disposition infused with her knowledge of the music industry, also with aligned opportunities, and creative acumen have equipped her with the platform to extend support to those in need.

 In 2019, Didi added more feathers to her cap by diversifying into Music and Content Distribution.

She currently holds the position of Head AnR/Content & Alliances for Nigeria at Ziiki Media.

In the 4 years she has been at Ziiki, she has worked on projects with artists like Gospel sensation Onos Ariyo, Lil Kesh, Iyanya, Larry Gaaga, and more.

The first quarter of 2023 applauded her as Employee of the quarter alongside her colleagues in Nigeria also being awarded Team of the same quarter.
