Christian Life Gospel Assembly to Install Nwaire General OverseerJune 22

All is now set for the consecration and installation of Samuel Chukwunenye Nwaire as Apostle and the General Overseer of Christian Life Gospel Assembly (CLGA), Oke Afa in Isolo, Lagos.

The event, which is being organised by the Christian Life Gospel Assembly, in partnership with the Fellowship of Frontline Apostles and Prophets, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the CLGA church auditorium, Oke Afa.

A press statement by the Media and Publicity Committee said the installation ceremony will be graced by notable men of God, captains of industry, and friends and colleagues of Apostle Sam Nwaire.
The ordination of pastors, deacons, deaconesses, will be held the following day, Sunday, June 23.

Commenting on the event, Apostle Sam Nwaire, who is presently the Deputy General Overseer until his elevation on Saturday, said the consecration and installation are to fill the vacuum created by the death of the founding General Overseer, Reverend Isaac Ugboaja, who died in 2022.

Giving insight into the ordination, Apostle Nwaire stated, “This is a new chapter of the church, and as such, certain things have to be done to bring it to the level it is expected, and one of such is the retreat and ordination.

“We normally have our retreat in May, but this year, we pushed it forward to June, and after the retreat, we will have the ordination. In this new chapter, there are some people that have been with us for a long time, and there are those that joined us later. So, the ordination is a convergence of the two.”

Nwaire further said, “Consecration and Ordination of the General Overseer is a way of setting him apart for Holy Ghost impartation. Having been G.O-elect, this is the process of finally handing him over to God for total equipment for the purpose of God’s glory.’

The significance of the ceremony is that the congregants will have the opportunity to offer their G.O. to the Holy Ghost and Almighty God for anointing renewal and total sanctification for the work ahead.”
The General-Overseer-to-be also stated that the ceremony will bring about the confirmation of enthronement for miracles which the Lord has already revealed to the church.
