Former Senate President Saraki Loses Mother

 
Florence Morenike Saraki, wife of late former Senate Leader Olusola Saraki, and mother of former Senate President Bukola Saraki, is dead.
 
She died on Tuesday at 88.
 
In a post on his X handle, former Senate President Saraki wrote: “With profound sadness and total submission to the will of Almighty God, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch, Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, who peacefully transitioned today, Tuesday, June 18th, 2024.
 
“Details regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in due course. We appreciate your love, prayers, and support as we mourn Mama’s passing.”
 
The late Matriarch of the Saraki family was also the mother of Senator Gbemisola Saraki, Temitope Edu and Olaolu Saraki.
