Obaseki Commiserates with Saraki over Mother’s Passing

Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has commiserated with former Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, over the passing of his mother, Chief Florence Morenike Saraki.


In a statement, the governor extended his condolences to the Saraki family, noting that the family’s matriarch lived a fulfilled life.
“I commiserate with my dear friend, former Senate President and former Governor of Kwara State, Senator Bukola Saraki, over the passing of his mother, Chief Florence Morenike Saraki.


“She was a compassionate and kind woman, who made remarkable contributions to the development of society. Kind and accommodating, she maintained the Saraki family tradition, keeping strong family virtues and building on a legacy of excellence, service and philanthropy.


“She raised strong-willed children and passed onto them her devotion to community service. Their successes today are testaments of her strict parenting style.
“Mama will be remembered for her dedication, life of service and unwavering commitment to societal development.
“I commiserate with the Saraki family, friends and associates and pray that God will grant all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” he added.
