Trust Teens Conference: Building the Largest Teenage Community in Africa
The Trust Teens Conference 2024 is determined to be Africa’s largest and most impactful teenage conference, as it reached over 2000 teenagers, parents, teachers, and special guests at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
This ground-breaking event was a celebration of teens’ empowerment, community building, and personal growth, offering a day full of inspiration, learning, and unforgettable experiences.
A member of the board of trustees of Trust Teens Community, Emmanuel Oshowobi, set the tone for the day by urging attendees to embrace the spirit of learning, unlearning, and relearning.
His message emphasised the importance of building lasting connections with peers, mentors, and insightful speakers.
On the part of the Convener of the Trust Teens Conference, Deborah Dada, in her keynote speech on “Family Tree”, illustrated the significance of the family as the foundation for personal growth.
She implored teenagers to cherish and respect their families as they grow and develop.
Dada shared her thoughts, “The Trust Teens Conference 2024 marks a significant milestone for Trust Teens and everyone who attended.
“Seeing over 2000 teenagers filled with hope and enthusiasm reaffirms our belief in their potential.”
She is confident that the conference is beyond a gathering for learning; it was about building a supportive community and embracing the uniqueness of each individual.”

Also, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, a social media influencer and young scholar, shared his remarkable journey from academic struggles to success in his speech titled, “Unleashing the Full Potential of Your Education Journey.”
Adeoluwa’s story of perseverance and achievement resonated deeply with the audience, who paid keen attention.
He encouraged them to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
One of the major highlights of the conference was the 3000-second panel discussion on “Guiding the Next Generation: Navigating Challenges and Embracing Opportunities.”
Moderated by a teenager, Craig Temitope, the panel featured distinguished experts including Lara Emmanuel, Dotun Famoriyo, Hamzat Oluwaseun, and Ifeoluwa Odegbami, who shared valuable insights on overcoming obstacles, finding mentors, and personal development.
