Foundation set to host Youth Empowerment Program In Edo State
A non-government organization, the Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Foundation, is set to host its highly anticipated Youth Empowerment Program, in Benin City, Edo State.
The program themed “Advance,” is scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 6, 2024, 9am at the Cathelea Event Center, GRA, Benin City.
This was containted in a statement issued on Thursday by the host and founder of the DP Foundation, Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu, emphasizing that the program’s mission is to inspire and empower the youth of Edo State.
According to the statement, the event will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers and guests, including Olawande Emmanuel Ayodele, Minister of State for Youth, Federal Republic of Nigeria; Titilope Gbadamosi, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Youth Initiatives; and Dr. Linus Okorie, Leadership Expert.
He explained that the program also promises to deliver a series of engaging and insightful sessions led by prominent figures such as Timi Dakolo, renowned singer and songwriter; Iroghama Ogbeifun, MD/CEO of Starzs Investment; and Osas Ighodaro, a celebrated actor. Additionally, social entrepreneur Dr. Sonia Agu and singer/songwriter Joytunes Moray will share their experiences and advice, aiming to motivate the youth to pursue their dreams and make impactful contributions to society.
The empowerment program will also feature an array of entertainment to keep the audience engaged and entertained. Performances by popular comedians and entertainers such as MC Edo Pikin, Maleke, MC Casino, and Ushbebe are expected to add a lively and humorous touch to the event.
The Youth Empowerment Program is designed to provide the youth with valuable knowledge, skills, and networking opportunities. Workshops and breakout sessions will cover a variety of topics, including entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal development. Attendees will have the chance to interact with industry leaders, ask questions, and gain insights that can help shape their future endeavors.
