Firm Brings Mobile Gadgets Insurance Solutions to SalesPlat’s Ondo Accelerator

Scrella, an innovative mobile insurance provider for smartphones, has partnered with SalesPlat Technologies to offer its services to entrepreneurs participating in the Ondo State business accelerator programme.

This collaboration is part of SalesPlat’s multi-partner initiative, which also involves Sterling Bank, Peppa, TradeFlow Africa, and others.

The programme aims to boost entrepreneurship and economic growth in Ondo through comprehensive training, mentorship, and funding opportunities.

Scrella focuses on providing gadget insurance, aiming to help businesses reduce costs related to gadget maintenance and repairs.

As more businesses become digitalised, it is crucial to minimize expenses associated with fixing PCs and phones, which can impact both revenue and productivity.

“Smartphones are essential tools for modern entrepreneurs,” says the CEO of Scrella, Gbenga Adigun.

“Through our partnership with SalesPlat’s accelerator, we can ensure the participating businesses have peace of mind and their mobile investments are protected.”

SalesPlat is leading the Ondo entrepreneurship drive as part of its broader mission to drive business growth and economic development across Africa, beginning in Nigeria.

The programme kicked off on June 15th with the Entrepreneurs Virtual Summit, featuring industry leaders and subject matter experts.

This was followed by a five-day incubation program that was held from June 18th to 22nd, providing intensive training across key areas like sales, marketing, financial management, and operations.

By offering comprehensive smartphone insurance solutions, Scrella is helping participating entrepreneurs reduce operational costs and avoid financial setbacks due to gadget repairs.

This ensures that businesses can focus on growth and productivity without the burden of unexpected repair costs.

The founder of SalesPlat’s Olatunde Victor said: “I’ve seen how creators and Enterpreneurs can lose revenue due to gadget faults and we are committed to providing robust infrastructural support for these Enterpreneurs.

“Partnering with Scrella ensures accelerator participants have their mobile tech needs covered as they focus on growth.”

The accelerator will also provide funding opportunities through pitch competitions, with further mentorship for the most promising startups selected by a panel of judges.

By addressing issues like cost management, and mobile device protection alongside training, funding, and mentorship, the program aims to holistically nurture entrepreneurs in Ondo State.

The SalesPlat and Scrella partnership, as part of the larger initiative, sets the stage for a transformative journey for Ondo State entrepreneurs.

The programme’s structured approach is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, tools, and financial support needed to turn their business ideas into successful enterprises.

By joining forces with SalesPlat, Scrella is playing a pivotal role in fostering a supportive environment where new and existing businesses can thrive, making a significant impact on the local economy and contributing to the broader goal of economic development across Africa.
