Omoluabi Collection Debuts at Coal City Fashion Experience Runway in Enugu

The Omoluabi Collection, a Faaji Casa Clothings, debuted at the Coal City Fashion Experience in Enugu from June 29 to 30 this year.

Faaji Casa Clothings was among the brands that showcased at the event, which had models, fashion critics, and enthusiasts in attendance.

The Omoluabi collection is designed for the charismatic gentleman who wants to balance stylishness and simplicity.

The founder and CEO of the brand, Susan Ademusire, described Faaji Casa Clothings’ style as a union of African prints and traditional styles with modern touches that are often made to be able also to serve a multifunctional purpose.

The collection has clothes designs made from adire and ankara—a fusion of traditional styles and modern fashion styles.

Accordingly, the ruffles are made in such a way that they are not fully stitched to the shirt, and they extend beyond the shirt towards the trouser part.

This ruffle adds a modern flair to what would have otherwise been a regular buba and Sokoto.

Another unique piece of the collection is the shirt dress that has a v-neckline with drawstrings to adjust the amount of exposure the wearer might want whenever it is worn.

The fabric for this appears to have been crepe. The design is free-flowing, and this makes it a suitable option for beachwear evening hangouts with friends.

Other stunning pieces are a mix of two different pieces of fabric.

The Omoluabi collection duly showcased all the traditions and modernity that the brand is quite famous for. The pieces in the collection are quite charming and very much an embodiment of the gentleman.
