Richard Edoki Takes ‘African Vibes’ to UK Radio Station

A former staff of Nigeria’s Rhythm 93.7 FM and Silverbird, Mr. Richard Edoki has commenced the ‘African Vibe with Richybongo’ on United Kingdom-based CHBN Radio, starting from Sunday, July 14. The show would air every Sunday from 6 pm to 7 pm and aims to inform, educate, and entertain while promoting inclusivity among the diverse communities around the Royal Cornwall Hospital and Truro.


CHBN provides a Community Radio service for Truro and the surrounding areas and a Hospital Radio service to the patients of the Royal Cornwall, West Cornwall & St Michael’s Hospitals. The radio station offers a wide range of both music and speech-based programmes for all ages presented by dedicated team of volunteers.


The lifestyle and entertainment programmes would be dedicated to a wide range of African music with both general and specialist appeal.
Announcing the new programme, an excited Edoki, who is a member of Nigeria’s Finance Correspondents Association of Nigeria, said, “Hey there! I’m Richard, but you can call me Richybongo, like my friends. I’m beyond excited to announce the debut of my new show, ‘African Vibe With Richybongo,” premiering Sunday, July 14th, from 6 to 7 pm on CHBN Radio, your go-to community station.
