Resource Intermediaries @ 18: Alex Okoh Returns as Chairman Board of Directors

Resource Intermediaries Limited (RIL), a leading human resource outsourcing company, has marked its 18th anniversary.

This anniversary saw the return of its Founder, Mr. Alex Okoh, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors after a seven-year sabbatical. He officially resumed on July 1st, 2024.

Okoh was the former director general of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, Nigeria.

He previously served as Chairman of RIL from its inception. During his prior tenure, Okoh played a pivotal role in guiding the company through significant growth and expansion, implementing innovative HR solutions that helped clients achieve greater efficiency and employee satisfaction.

In his opening remark at the anniversary of RIL, Okoh shared his excitement about returning and joining the Board again to provide oversight.

He recognised the achievements of all employees, past and present, saying “Without you, we would not be celebrating this 18th anniversary”.

He listed the achievements including expansion to five different regions in Nigeria and two countries, and the successful opening of a subsidiary co-work space brand in six regions in Nigeria – TheBUNKer Services Nigeria Limited (TBSNL).

He argued that not so many organisations have survived up to 18 years of business operations according to research.

The founder also appreciated the effort of the outgoing chairman Dr. Ebun Bamgboye contributions to the exceptional leadership of the board and the co-founder and MD/CEO, Mr. Olusoji Oyawoye in pivoting the firm’s growth through the years.

He said as the organisation moves forward, he hopes to crystallise all efforts and execute new strategies to expand the scope of the business taking it to new horizons.

Okoh promised to collaborate with management to provide some support on the journey to break new territories and grounds synergising management’s expertise which is an invaluable asset to continue to grow and evolve RIL’s services.

He later presented awards to long-serving staff as he thanked them for carrying on the vision of the founding Fathers.
