Ashabi Releases new movie, Itase

Producer and Actress, Alabi Yetunde popularly known as Ashabi hit the limelight in 2020 with her first major full length movie, the critically acclaimed drama, ABAADI under the production house LIBRATV. This debut work earned her multiple award nominations and firmly cemented her reputation as an emerging star. Her commitment to preserving the Yoruba culture and language through meaningful and impactful storytelling. Birthing this initiative rooted in the deep appreciation of her heritage is aimed to celebrate the richness of Yoruba values, traditions and norms. Remaining unwavering in her commitment she continues to seek to educate, entertain and inspire with her productions.

With the success achieved in her debut production she went on to produce a Yoruba language thriller titled, Atona in 2021 featuring a stellar cast including Adedimeji Lateef, Bukunmi Oluwashina, Ayo Mogaji and a host of other talented actors. The dialogue in this production was a testament to the depth of Yoruba language serving a linguistic feast for viewers.

On August 8th 2024 she released an highly anticipated production, a LibraTv Original she titled, Itase. With her unique vision, the story proves that true love can withstand any test. The production features an impressive cast including Gabriel Afolayan, Wumi Toriola, Deborah Shokoya, Ayo Olaiya, Habeeb Alagbe and a host of other seasoned actors under the direction of Muyideen Oladapo popularly know as Lala.
