The Ugee Collection 2024 is an eclectic of beautiful styles and brilliantly combined colour palettes. We can arguably say it’s one of the best collections around. The choice of Ankara material and the prints are signs of a designer who is ‘woke.’

Ugee is the brainchild of Isama Vincent Ugochukwu, the creative director. The brand advocates for sustainable fashion, laying emphasis on protecting the earth in our quest to look good. They released their 2024 collection and it shows a designer who has pulled inspiration from various unique places and combined them into this set of pieces, and crafted garments that are in resonance with fashion lovers.

As you know, looking good is good business; having a piece or more from this collection is a good investment which you will find out soon enough.

Ugee collection was crafted by the designer with both the old and the young in mind because the collection contains design pieces that can resonate with various generations. Irrespective of your age, you can see yourself in the Ugee Collection. It is like a kaleidoscope of fashion that reflects various personalities.

It takes an ingenious designer to be able to put the qualities of both the young and old in one design collection or a design outfit.

This outfit speaks the quality of style, an intelligent blend of hue, and a brilliant creation. The dress is a combination of a blouse and trousers that follow smoothly in hue and style.

The blouse is a button-down shirt with a voluminous flabby sleeve. The neck area is round and would be fitted nicely to the neck. Pleats are flowing from the chest area and extending towards the sleeve.

The midriff looks a little bit fitter than the rest of the blouse design and almost reveals some skin at the abdomen.

The dress is a combination of different colours, most of which are accent hues revealing shapes of the fabric or prints. The dominant colour is cyan blue and there are some other minor accent colours like navy blue and whitish-grey.  The navy blue accents form little backdrops for the cyan blue squares shape. The whitish-grey accents also show some square shapes which blend against the cyan-blue square shapes.

The dress has a garland-like ornament at the neck area which extends down to the midriff area. This garland-like design is a display of ingenuity on the part of the designer. The inspiration must have been drawn from an ancient time when garlands were used to decorate an outfit during celebrations.

The garland-like design upgrades the beauty of this garment. Imagine the dress without that; it will look ordinary.  The garland-like ornament has given it a vibe that makes the dress flow in resonance with fashion consumers.

The neck area has a black material extending from the garment, from within, and it is hard to tell if it is part of the dress or its underwear, but it’s a thoughtful addition that gives a kind of uniqueness in its way.

The dress is sleeveless as expected, because a long sleeve could have masked the beauty portrayed by the garland-like ornament. It has an exposed midriff, which showcases the sexiness of a lady. The dress is crafted with the youths in mind; youths that like to slay wherever they may go or be. It showcases feminine beauty in a way that almost looks simple but classy.

This is a dress that can be worn on a romantic date, dinner and cocktail parties, or fashion runway shows, but might not be acceptable at a religious gathering.

Here is another garment with unique beauty from the Ugee Collection. It is an example of a well-crafted brilliant outfit. The poise speaks of confidence and the bearing flows between the vibes of seriousness and fun-time.

It is a buttoned-down shirt. The collar is low and narrow, making it fit properly with the neckline. The dress has long sleeves, with ruffles attached to it from the shoulders to the wrists. The ruffles also spread along the chest area to the collar.

If something is to be altered in the dress it would be the volume of the trousers because it seems to be taking too much space and in a way limiting the beauty of the dress. A slim trouser would go a long way in people’s hearts.

But overall the Ugee 2024 collection killed it; the collection is most amazing. We are excited to see such tremendous growth from previous year’s collection. This only sparks curiousity on whatUgochukwu has for the coming years.
