NTT Global Destinations Supports the Indonesia-Africa Business Council at the Indonesia Trade Expo in Kano State

NTT Global Destinations, Nigeria’s leading Halal tourism and trade partner, proudly supported the Indonesia-Africa Business Council at the Indonesia Expo, hosted in Kano State from 20th -24th August 2024. This significant event was organized by the Indonesian Embassy in Nigeria, in cooperation with the Kano Traders and Entrepreneurs Association.

Mr Fahmi Aris Innayah- Minister Counsellor of the Indonesian Embassy in Abuja states “The Expo served as a vibrant platform to strengthen economic linkages between Indonesia and Nigeria with special emphasis on Kano State.”

The event brought together key stakeholders, business leaders, and government representatives to explore opportunities for trade, investment, and cultural exchange.

As the preferred Halal trade partner in Nigeria, NTT Global Destinations played a pivotal role in ensuring that the event aligned with the principles of Halal business practices, fostering an inclusive environment that caters to the needs of both Nigerian and Indonesian enterprises. Our involvement underscored our commitment to bridging the gap between Nigeria and global destinations, promoting ethical and sustainable trade practices, and supporting the growth of the Halal economy.

We represent over 107 enterprises in Indonesia with interests in doing business with various African countries including Nigeria, and we are positive Nigeria is the future for such trade cooperation. With our similarities in culture, I am also positive we could influence a positive tourism exchange with more Indonesians exploring the beauty of Nigeria as I did during the tours facilitated by our Nigerian partner NTT Global Destinations.”

The Indonesia Expo in Kano State showcased a wide range of products, services, and investment opportunities, attracting a diverse audience of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts. The event highlighted the growing interest in strengthening trade relations between Indonesia and Africa, with a particular focus on sectors such as agriculture, beauty, fashion, food and beverage, manufacturing, defence, technology, education and tourism.

NTT Global Destinations’ support for the Indonesia-Africa Business Council at this Expo is a testament to our ongoing efforts to position Nigeria as a key player in the global Halal market. Ms. Agboola previously led a delegation of tourism operators in a high level tourism and trade event, Beyond Bali Trade Fair, Indonesia in 2022 which contributed to the enhanced efforts to stimulate business and commercial engagement between Nigeria and Indonesia.
