Eze Igbo Ghana Congratulates Gov Uzodimma over Supreme Court Victory

Following the Supreme Court ruling over the November 11, 2023 Imo governorhip election, which affirmed the victory of His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma, CON, as the authentic winner of the governorship election in the state, the diasporan paramount King of the Igbo community in Ghana, His Royal Majesty Eze Dr. Amb. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu (Ezeigbo Ghana) has joined Nigerians and ndi Imo to congratulate the governor for this laudable feat of another four years in the service of Imo people and humanity.

In a letter, signed by the king and made available to his Director, Media Strategy and Communications, Njoku Macdonald Obinna , the Igbo diasporan King in Ghana, HRM Eze Dr. Ihenetu, saluted the resilence and tenacity of Uzodimma in rigorously fighting for his renewed mandate through the court with its attendant strong affirmation as the winner of the election as declared by the Apex Court last Friday, August 23, 2024.

The statements part of which read thus; Eze Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu stated, inter alia:
“May I, on behalf of the Igbo community in the Republic of Ghana, join Imo people back home and in the diaspora to congratulate our dear governor, His Excellency Sen. Hope Uzodimma on his landslide victory at the poll during the November 11, 2023 governorship election and affirmation of his victory by the Nigerian Supreme Court.”

“This victory validates the massive support and confidence ndi Imo have in your governance and performance stride with your impressive outing in the last five years in office.

“As we celebrate with you and members of your cabinet, may this victory spurs you into action to achieve more in other aspects of governance calling for attention. God, through this landmark victory, has given you another opportunity to write your name in good with people -oriented programs, policies, and projects.

“Be assured, Your Excellency, the assurances of the massive support of ndi Igbo and that of the Obi Eziokwu diasporan traditional stool in the Republic of Ghana.”
