Lagos International Badminton Classic Serves off 

Kayode Samuel Oyeniran will be the first Nigerian in action as another edition of the annual Lagos International Badminton Classic serves off this Thursday at the Molade Okoya Thomas Hall situated at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos. 

The Nigerian will be facing Carlos Charles Ahounagassi of Benin Republic in the first match of the Men’s singles event.

The Lagos Classics which is in its seventh edition, has been variously described as the highest category of Badminton World Federation-sanctioned championship to be hosted by any African Country.

After the opening match, there will be a Nigerian debut as Daniel Philip and Abel Daniel clash at the Court 3. There are 31 players featuring in the Men’s Singles first round.
