Atiku Abubakar Sympathises With Ningi Emirate, Bauchi Govt over Emir’s Passing

Former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, yesterday, visited Ningi to condole with the emirate over the death of the Emir, Yunusa Muhammadu Danyaya.

Atiku was received by the Deputy Governor, Hon Mohammed’ Auwal Jatau and other top government officials on behalf of the Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir.

In his message to the Emirate and the state, Atiku described the death of the late Emir as a great loss, not only to the people of the state but Nigeria as a whole, considering the fatherly roles he played in shaping the society for good.

“It is with a heavy heart that I join the Ningi Emirate Council, the people of Bauchi State, and indeed all Nigerians, in mourning the departure of a revered leader, Alhaji Yunusa Mohammadu Danyaya, the Emir of Ningi.

“His passing is not only a significant loss to his immediate community but also to the entire nation, given the legacy of peace, unity, and progress he championed throughout his life.

“Late Alhaji Yunusa Mohammadu Danyaya was a beacon of wisdom and an embodiment of the noble qualities that define true leadership. As the Emir of Ningi, he ruled with a deep sense of justice, fairness, and compassion, ensuring that the needs of his people were always at the forefront of his agenda,” he said.

Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Mohammed Auwal Jatau and the Wazirin Ningi, Ambassador Ahmad Shuaibu, both appreciated the former Vice President for the condolence visit and prayed Allah to reward him abundantly.
