Debra Can new EP, Story Times Explores amazing Genre

Up and rising Nigerian artist, Deborah Oyekan better known as Debra Can is finally out with her much anticipated Extended Playlist ( EP) album ‘ Story Time’. With just few days into the release of the amazing project, the EP is currently topping music charts with the quality of songs embedded in the album. With exploration of the different genre, the project boasts of the infusion of Afro Beat/ Afro pop sound, a genre that resonates her brand.

According to Debra Can, the six track EP consist of a feature with Nigerian rap artist, Magnito and explores the theme of love, success and daily life experience.

With fierce competition in the music industry, Debra Can has showed her music dexterity through the quality of works she put out citing that the reward for an amazing job is more work.

It is pertinent to note that the Mass Communication graduate from the prestigious Olabisi Onabanjo University started doing music while in the university; getting featured in songs by other artists and was also a member of a music band. Debra Can however started doing music professionally since 2021 and ever since she has been able to explore different sounds.
