Publisher Tender Public Apology for False Claims

Felix Ashimole Esq., publisher of KubwaExpress, has publicly apologized to prominent legal practitioner Jude Obiora Ezeobi over false claims made regarding the burial of the late Wigwe University Registrar, Ulonna Inyama.

Ashimole retracted the inaccurate publication, confirming that Ezeobi never solicited funds for the burial or for any other purpose.

The publisher clarified that, contrary to the report, there was no Condolence WhatsApp Group established by Ezeobi or his friends.

He emphasized that Ezeobi has never asked for financial assistance related to the burial of his ex-wife or any other matter.

Ashimole expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to Ezeobi.

He stated, “We realized that there was an error of facts in this publication.

“Contrary to our publication, as informed by family sources in Ulonna’s extended compound, there was no Condolence WhatsApp Group set up by Mr. Jude Ezeobi or any of his friends, as claimed by the author of the publication.

“Furthermore, it was revealed that Mr. Jude Obiora Ezeobi has never solicited or asked anyone to solicit funds for the burial of his ex-wife, Ulonna Inyama, or for any other purpose whatsoever.

“The error of facts in the publication under reference is hereby retracted. We regret any inconvenience the error might have caused Mr. Jude Ezeobi.”

In addition to his professional stature, Jude Obiora Ezeobi comes from a distinguished legal dynasty. All five of his siblings are accomplished lawyers, including Chinelo Ezeobi, Janefrances Ezeobi-Ajagu, Theodore Okechukwu Ezeobi, who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), and Ngozi Ezeobi-Anidi (Enugu State Judiciary). Their late father, Chief Theodore A. Ezeobi, was a renowned SAN, Life Bencher, and a member of the National Judicial Council.

Despite his notable lineage, Jude Obiora Ezeobi has established a commendable reputation both locally and internationally in the legal field.
