Independence Day: Eki Co-Net Launches Largest Tree Planting Exercise in Africa

As part of efforts to combat climate change, a pioneering Climate Technology company, Eki Co-Net has resolved to lead the largest tree planting exercise in Africa in celebration of Nigeria’s Independence Day.

This initiative, it said, aligns with the company’s mission to decarbonise the Earth through its innovative digital products and tree planting efforts, marking a significant step toward a sustainable future.

The CEO of Eki Co-Net, Godwin Omage in a statement issued Sunday noted that the event, which would have thousands of participants, would commence at the National Stadium in Abuja, serving as the launch point for the tree planting activities.

Omage noted: “As a Climate Technology company, we are committed to decarbonising the Earth through our innovative digital products and tree planting actions to complement our solutions. “There will be no sustainable future if we do not take sustainable action.”

“This initiative by Eki Co-Net is more than just a tree planting exercise; it is a powerful statement of the company’s dedication to connecting people and protecting the planet.

“By integrating technology with environmental activism, Eki Co-Net continues to lead the way in creating a more sustainable and connected world.”
Omage added that Nigerians are invited to the event, where they can connect with like-minded individuals, support a crucial environmental cause, and contribute to the global fight against climate change.
