Nigerian Leaders to Shine at MIPAD’s Global Trade Celebration During 2024 UN General Assembly in New York

As the world gathered for the United Nations General Assembly high-level week this month, a special spotlight will shine on global trade leaders, including several Nigerian powerhouses, at the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) Recognition Week. The week-long celebration coincides with the end of the first International Decade for People of African Descent.

This year’s event offers a unique platform for all honorees (past and present) to amplify their influence through MIPAD’s partnership with GLG Communications, a renowned PR and reputation management firm, to provide comprehensive public relations services.

While the partnership focuses on elevating MIPAD honourees, the opportunity extends to all 2024 UN General Assembly attendees who desire to amplify their brands this September.
They are encouraged to fill out the form atbit.ly/WorldClassStrategicPR before September 16. Due to limited capacity, only selected personal and corporate brands will be invited to participate in a discovery PR call to tailor the PR services to their specific goals.
The Global Trade Edition, a highlight of MIPAD Recognition Week, features a distinguished roster of leaders of African descent worldwide. Nigerian luminaries include: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala: Renowned economist and Director-General of the World Trade Organization; Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina: President, African Development Bank (AfDB); Hon. Dapo Okubadejo: Commissioner of Finance and Chief Economic Adviser of Ogun State, and Hon. (Dr) Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite: Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment.

Other leaders on the list include the President of the US Africa Business Center at the US Chamber of Commerce, Kendra Gaither; Chairman of Export Barbados, Adrian Padmore; Executive Director of the World Trade Center Washington, Allyson Browne Mckithen; Co-President and Tradelab Legal Clinics, Jan Yves Remy.
Meanwhile, the organisers said: “From personalized press releases to publications in top-tier media outlets, crafting compelling content, and professional brand building, honorees, executives, and leaders attending this year’s UNGA can leverage the unique PR resources by filling out the form at https://bit.ly/WorldClassStrategicPR.
