ISN Set to Host 2024 Annual Meeting

In response to the need for growth of innovation hubs, startups and the overwhelming opportunities for collaboration within the Nigerian innovation ecosystem, the Innovation Support Network (ISN) Hubs is set to organize the fifth edition of her Annual Gathering in Akwa Ibom State.

The event holding between October 29th and November 1st 2024, themed, “Scaling Together, Building a Collaborative Culture for Nigerian Innovation,” amongst other activities, showcase the efforts of ISN towards supporting the growth of Innovation Hubs across Nigeria.

The event is expected to attract over 10,000 participants including innovation hubs, startups, investors, development partners, corporates, policymakers, advocates, academia and other ecosystem stakeholders, converging to explore the enormous potential of collaboration to drive innovation and economic growth across the country.

The ISN Annual Gathering 2024 will also feature an annual general meeting, designed to review the progress of the organisation, a Deal Room where investors meet inventors from its member Hub clusters and emerging businesses for collaboration.

It will also fuse culture and technology, foster collaboration, enhance skills development, facilitate knowledge sharing through a series of thought provoking conversations, product exhibition, breakout sessions, and other engaging activities.

Oge Nnaife, the Executive Director of ISN Hubs, expressed her delight in organising this year’s Annual Gathering at a time when the country is in dire need for rapid development.

She stated: “Collaboration is the new currency in the world of business development, it does not only broaden the scope of innovation but creates a path for creative problem solving and resource mobilisation. Our aim for this year’s event is to extend the efforts of ISN to Akwa Ibom State while reflecting on our five year journey and facilitating collaboration within the ecosystem.”

Several distinguished partners have been confirmed for the event including GIZ/Digital Transformation Center Nigeria.

She added, “As we celebrate ISN’s 5th anniversary, I am proud of our progress in fostering innovation and supporting startups across Nigeria. ISN has grown from 75 members in 2019 to 198 in 29 states in 2024 and is still growing. We have empowered countless entrepreneurs and created a vibrant ecosystem. This milestone reflects the hard work of our members, partners, and community.”
