‘Ti Oluwa Ni Ile’ Promises Phenomenal Stage Experience

Handlers of the stage production ‘Asiyanbi’, an adaptation of the much-celebrated movie ‘Ti Oluwa Ni Ile’, have announced that Dotun Taylor, the producer of the upcoming play, and legendary actor Baba Wande, are collaborating to bring the stage play, promising nothing short of phenomenal.

The play is billed to premiere on October 4th, 2024, at Terra Kulture, Lagos. ‘Asiyanbi’ would feature a stellar cast that will bring the production to live, retelling the classic tale of land, ownership, and divine retribution.

“This production holds a mirror to our society, reflecting the timeless moral values of our culture,” Taylor said.

 “We’re bringing to life a story that challenges the status quo and speaks to the essence of justice, destiny, and consequence,” he added. Baba Wande leads a stellar cast, reprising the iconic role that defined his career. “Returning to this role is like reliving a part of history that continues to resonate today,” Baba Wande admitted.

The legendary Baba Wande, real name Kareem Adepoju, is famed for his role that defined him, bringing to life the timeless ‘Ti Oluwa Ni Ile’ on stage.
