Tech Ecosystem: Rising Investors Partner to Impact Tech Innovation, Pioneering Nigeria’s Digital Future
Nigeria’s tech ecosystem is rapidly gaining global attention, and rising innovators like Agharaye Tseyi and Chimezie Iwuala are leading the charge.
Inspired by industry pioneers, the pair are driving digital transformation with his focus on solving local problems using cutting-edge technology.
As one of the key figures shaping the future of tech in Nigeria, Tseyi and Iwuala are involved in various groundbreaking projects aimed at revolutionising education and healthcare systems.
“I believe technology should address specific challenges we face in Nigeria. That’s why our work is focused on creating solutions that are not only innovative but also deeply relevant to our local needs,” Tseyi explained.
Tseyi, the CEO of Bloom Digital Media Ltd’s most outstanding project is the development of a School Management System (SMS) tailored to meet the specific requirements of Nigerian schools.
With many foreign-developed systems proving too costly and rigid, Tseyi and his team in partnership with Chimez,ie took on the challenge of creating a more flexible, user-friendly platform.
“Our School Management System simplifies administrative tasks and improves communication between teachers and parents,” Tseyi said. “We wanted a system that empowers both educators and parents with real-time updates and seamless interactions.”
Currently, more than 28 schools in Southern Nigeria are using the SMS, allowing for streamlined processes such as virtual classrooms and performance reporting. Tseyi added, “The feedback from schools has been amazing. Our continuous updates ensure the system evolves with the needs of the education sector.”
Building on the success of the SMS, the team led by Iwuala also focused on developing a Hospital Management System (HMS) to tackle inefficiencies in Nigeria’s healthcare sector.
With outdated systems hampering hospital operations, the new HMS is making a significant impact by improving patient record management, optimising billing processes, and reducing administrative bottlenecks.
“Our HMS is designed to address the unique challenges Nigerian hospitals face,” Chimezie shared.
“It’s helping hospitals deliver better care by enhancing staff coordination and improving overall operations.”
In the future, Tseyi is excited about the next big project: a Project Management System designed to rival global Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms again in strong partnership with Iwuala, “We’re creating a system that offers real-time data analysis and customisation, aiming to provide businesses with a tool that can compete globally.”
The team’s work reflects the growing potential of Nigerian innovators to drive meaningful change. “We’re showing the world that Nigerian tech solutions can compete on the global stage while solving local problems,” he concluded.
