Godman Akinlabi, Laju Iren, Others to Headline Singles Gathering in Lagos
The Elevation Church has announced the return of its Singles Hangout after a brief hiatus since 2021.
This event, designed for singles from diverse backgrounds, will hold simultaneously in Lagos and Abuja on Saturday, 28th September,
The programme organised by Surge, a youth movement of The Elevation Church, promises an energetic atmosphere where singles can meet, network, and foster new friendships.
It underscores the church’s mission to discipline the younger generation, shape contemporary culture, and address the pressing issues faced by today’s youth. The Singles Hangout is an opportunity for singles to engage in thought-provoking conversations while enjoying a seamless fusion of faith, fun, and fellowship.
Speaking at the event, Godman Akinlabi remarked, “As Myles Munroe once said, ‘Singleness is not a disease that needs to be cured; it’s a season that needs to be understood.’ We are redefining what it means to be young, single, and purposeful. I invite every single person to join us for an experience that will inspire them to thrive in love, life, and relationships, and equip them for the journey ahead.”
On the highlight of the programme, Akinlabi said it will feature a candid discussion on love, life, and relationships, including a Singles Townhall that explores the desires and expectations of men and women.
“A special segment titled ‘Grown and Ready’ will cater to mature singles. Esteemed speakers and facilitators include Global Lead Pastor Godman Akinlabi, author and relationship coach Pastor Laju Iren, alongside notable personalities such as Pastor Debo Omotunde, actors Stan and Blessing Nze, and other relationship experts like Morenike Molehin and Yemi & Ayo Aderibigbe”, he said.
The gathering will also be enriched by dynamic musical performances from EmmaOMG, AnEndlessOcean, the Surge & LifePointe Band, AdikaMusic, EmmaSings, Ayodele Enoch, Psalm Jay, DJ RevaWellz, and DJ Sammy. This stellar lineup ensures an unforgettable experience filled with music, laughter, and community.
