Communications Specialist, Blessing Okebe Launches First Edition Of GOTNI’s Leadership Lens Magazine

Communication specialist, Blessing Okebe has unveiled the first edition of Leadership Lens Magazine amidst accolades in Abuja.

The unveiling took place at the weekend in Abuja during the second day of 2024 GOTNI’s National Leadership Conference at Transcorp Hilton Hotel.

The first edition of the magazine titled, “Leading Ladies” is dedicated to highlighting the vital representation of women not just in leadership, but at the highest levels of corporate and political spheres.

Personalities featured in the maiden edition include, Lady Josephine Nwaeze: Thriving As A Female Leader In Male-Dominated Field, Bodam Taiwo: Balancing Power and Grace, Adaora Sydney-Jack: Charting the Course, Paving The Way for More Women in Leadership, Joyce Daniels: Nurturing Bold Visions, A Call For More Female Voices in Politics, Omotara Fagbuyi: Amplifying Leadership Presence, Sarah Amana: Leading With Financial Confidence, Oluwakemi Enitan Shonubi : The Pipeline Problem, Engr Adat Okon – Effiong : Understanding Imposter Syndrome , Angelina Ugben : Inclusive Governance for Women with Disabilities , and Felix Achibiri : Bridging the Gender Gap in Leadership – A Man’s Perspective

Blessing, the Director of Communications at GOTNI Leadership Centre and Editor-in-Chief of this print publication, expressed delight with the commendations that have trailed the first edition, assuring that she and her team will sustain the tempo of excellence the brand is known for.

“Our goal through this edition is to advocate for greater female representation in top leadership roles, inspire women to strive for these positions through relatable success stories, and equip them with insights to prepare for such roles”, she said while commenting on the first edition.

She added, “We firmly believe that by sharing these stories and perspectives, we are adding our voice to the global conversation around women’s leadership and progress.”

She expressed her appreciation for her editorial team—Idy Uko, Adeyemo Jesutofunmi Janet, Mark Onyebujoh, and Jerry Kanyinebi—acknowledging their dedication and commitment in bringing this project to life.

Blessing who wields humongous experience, having held positions such as Director of Corporate Communications, Senior Brand Communications Specialist, Digital Marketing Manager, Head of Digital Assets, Media Director, and Project Manager has been commended for rolling out a content-studded first edition of the publication.

She also works with business and career executives to offer them much-needed visibility, magnify their impact, and unlock top-tier opportunities. Additionally, she is a corporate event host.
