Olu, Olori of Warri Present Itsekiri Bible to Bible Museum in Washington D.C.

In a historic and cultural milestone, the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III and the Olori of Warri Kingdom, have presented the Itsekiri Bible to the Bible Museum in Washington, D.C.

The remarkable event signifies a deep connection between the Itsekiri people’s rich heritage and their Christian faith.

The Itsekiri Bible, a translation of the Holy Scriptures in the native language of the Itsekiri people of Nigeria’s Niger Delta, is described as a testament to the commitment to preserving and promoting indigenous languages while spreading the message of Christianity.
