Live Your Dreams empowers 10,000 youths in Africa, others

A non-governmental organisation Live Your Dreams Africa Foundation has empowered 10,000 young people in Africa and other continents.

The empowerment programme equipped young people with skills in Graphic Design, Copywriting, Social Media Management, Community Management, and Online Advertising.

The 10-week programme via Live Your Dreams Africa Foundation’s Online Academy targeted 10,000 young people across Africa and had participants from across 32 countries with Nigeria, Ghana, and the United Kingdom as the top three countries with the highest number of applicants.

Founder of Live Your Dreams Africa Bankole Williams said the initiative seeks to bridge the gap by providing young individuals with the tools they need to excel in the creative and digital industries.

“By offering practical training and hands-on experience, the program empowers participants to become skilled professionals and entrepreneurs in the fields of graphic design and community management,” Williams said.

The training covered a wide range of topics, including design principles, Personal Branding, Software proficiency, Sales & Marketing Skills, Creating a sustainable business with a Business Model Canvas (BMC), Leadership strategies, and Project Management.

“This is to ensure that all participants receive high-quality education and mentorship throughout the program as facilitated by experienced professionals and industry experts,” Williams said.

He stated that the programme is open to individuals aged 18 to 40 who are passionate about pursuing careers in Graphic Design, Community Management, Copywriting, Social Media Management, and related fields. Interested individuals can apply for the program by joining the waitlist, and selected participants will receive full scholarships covering the cost of training.

“For more information about the training program and how to apply, interested candidates are advised to visit www.liveyourdreamsafrica.com or check our social media pages on Instagram and Facebook,” Williams noted.
