Madam Leka Erefori Nawa Maeba Dies at 94
The late HRM Samson Maeba Royal House of Luwa Community in the Nyo-Khana District of Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, has announced the death of their dearly beloved mother, Leka Erefori Nawa Meaba, at the ripe age of 94, 53 years after the demise of her husband.
According to a statement by Senator Lee Ledogo Meaba, on behalf of the family, until her demise, their mother was a devout Christian of the Methodist Church of Nigeria (MCN), a philanthropist par excellence and a community leader.
The statement added that funeral obsequies are slated for November 30, at her country home in Luwa.
“While we expect your physical presence to join us as we pay our last respect to our beloved mother, please have us in your prayers in this trying moment,” they said.
