Sowemimo Abiodun Honoured As One of Africa’s Most Influential People of African Descent

Sowemimo Abiodun, President of Africa’s Preeminent Data & Cybersecurity Corporation” Honored as one of the Most Influential People of African Descent.

Sowemimo Abiodun, the President of Africa’s Preeminent Data & Cybersecurity Corporation, Cyberpedia, has achieved a remarkable milestone by being recognised by the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD).

He is now among the Global 100 Futurists & Innovators, a prestigious group that highlights leaders making a difference in their fields.

This honour was awarded during an event at the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, coinciding with the United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent (2015–2024).

Abiodun shared his excitement about the recognition, saying, “It is a great honor to be included among such influential individuals. This award pushes me to keep working hard for the betterment of technology in Africa.” He pointed out that collaboration among leaders and innovators is vital for driving progress in the tech industry.
