Nigeria To Host The Second Edition Of The African Entrepreneurs And Investors Round Table AFEIR2024
Abuja, The Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria set to host the Second Edition of the African Entrepreneurs and Investors Roundtable as African Governments, Policy Makers, Entrepreneurs and Investors are ready to converge with the aim of promoting investment opportunities in Africa and Bridging the gap between entrepreneurs and investors in order to promote economic development in the continent.
The Theme of AFEIR2024 is “Harnessing global opportunities in advancing investment and Entrepreneurship in Africa” which is centered on driving entrepreneurship and investment in Africa. AFEIR 2024 is a remarkable brainchild of VARDIAFRICA. It is an annual event designed to promote human capital development and business support for upcoming entrepreneurs as well as consolidate investment growth spanning across various strata of the economy. The program is structured to serve as a viable platform in bridging the gap between upcoming entrepreneurs and potential investors.
According to Kingsley J. Dakorubo who doubles as the Executive Director VARDIAFRICA and Executive Director Programs and Admin for AFEIR2024, he stated during the media briefing that AFEIR2024 will feature Panel Discussions, Insightful presentations from renowned Resource Persons, Exhibitions, Trainings, Networking and interactive sessions amongst others. In addition, a few small-scale businesses will be selected for the business grant to help boost their businesses amidst the harsh economic realities. In the inaugural event which held last year at the Civic Centre Victoria Island in Lagos, a number of businesses were supported with the business grant of TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND ((200,000) NAIRA EACH, while over a 100 NYSC members were given business tokens to support their entrepreneurship drive which was aided with the support of various government agencies, private organizations and well-meaning Africans. AFEIR2024 is slated to hold on 12th November 2024 at the prestigious Abuja Continental Hotel.
In attendance will be renowned Investment organizations across the country, seasoned entrepreneurs, young and upcoming business men/women, policy makers, youth groups as well as Government representatives. He further mentioned that the event will be segmented into two sessions. The morning session which is the main event will commence at 9am with strategic sessions while the evening session will be an Award/Gala night starting from 6pm.
The Award session is basically the 4th Edition of the Africa Value Awards which is a platform used to recognize and celebrate few distinguished individuals and organizations in Africa that have contributed immensely to entrepreneurship development, human capital development, humanitarian impacts and generally promoting the African values.
