Stephanie Okocha Marks 10 Years in Industry with Scholarships for Aspiring Industry leaders

In celebration of her 10-year journey in the music industry, Stephanie Okocha, esteemed music executive and founder of Panda Entertainment, has awarded scholarships to two aspiring students of The Music Business Academy (MBA) for Africa 2024, reaffirming her dedication to supporting education and innovation in the creative sector.

Stephanie reached out to MBA for Africa, a platform dedicated to building a skilled and empowered workforce for Africa’s entertainment industry, with the desire to sponsor students in the programme. MBA for Africa selected two beneficiaries—Emmanuel Nimmak and Michelle Uzuegbu—based on their in-house criteria, which prioritises excellence and creative innovation.

Stephanie’s sponsorship will give them the opportunity to develop vital skills that will contribute to their future success in the music business.

Reflecting on her own journey, Stephanie shared, “While on a 9 month hiatus from work, I wanted to learn more about the music business, but we had no schools offering that at the time in Nigeria, so I applied and gained admission to a school in the U.S.

I’m thrilled that aspiring executives can now pursue their dreams right here in Nigeria. Education is the cornerstone of growth, and I am passionate about seeing young professionals thrive in both business and the creative arts”.
As Panda Entertainment continues to grow within the African music arena, this scholarship programme demonstrates the company’s commitment to empowering emerging professionals and fostering talent in the industry.

“Panda Entertainment has always aimed to push boundaries, and this scholarship initiative is an extension of that vision. It’s not just about producing music; it’s about cultivating opportunities for everyone involved,” Stephanie emphasised.

With this milestone achievement, Stephanie is excited about launching more impactful projects and initiatives designed to foster growth within and beyond the music industry.
