Adeleke Greets Ooni of Ife at 50, NPA Director Extols His Virtues

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has rejoiced with the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Enitan, Ojaja II, on the occasion of his 50th birthday, celebrating him as a symbol of transformational leadership. 

Also, the Executive Director, Marine and Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Olalekan Badmus, extoled  the virtues of  Oba Ogunwusi, describing him as a bridge builder whose contribution birthed development within and outside Nigeria.

Adeleke noted the deliberate efforts of the Arole Oduduwa in fostering harmony in his domain and beyond by promoting understanding of differences, affirming the monarch’s sustained pursuit of enviable development of the ancient town of Ife and the progress of subjects.

The governor extoled Oba Ogunwusi’s courage and purposefulness in promoting the richness of culture, heritage and ideals, which has been the hallmark of Yoruba existence.

He commended him as the Chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers in Osun State for building bridges that not only attracted physical developments to his domain but also strengthened bonds in the state’s traditional institution and beyond.

The NPA Director said, “As the father of the Yoruba race, he is making our culture more attractive globally. This that he is doing is making people desire to know and learn more about our culture and tradition.

“Our Baba is a lover of youths and he always provides platforms for them to thrive. He always advocates for youths which goes a long way in promoting their potential.”
