We want to see more young women defy the odds and become members and stakeholders of diverse and multinational community networks such as AfriLabs, ISN Hubs, etc. Young women are capable of building world class solutions to solve problems in the home front, society and world at large.
This drive has led to the launch of several programs and projects under Genius Hub such as Her Migration Voice campaign and Tech Women in Business Network, as a means of amplifying the voices of the girl child. We believe that empowering girls requires a collaborative effort. We call on all stakeholders – governments, corporations, educational institutions, and civil society organisations – to work together towards the following goals:
Building Safe Support Systems
Bridging the Digital Divide by ensuring affordable and reliable internet access, digital devices, and quality training for girls in all communities.
Breaking stereotypes and societal biases that discourage girls from pursuing STEM careers.
Amplifying Girls’ Voices through platforms where girls can express their ideas and visions for the future.
At Genius Hub, we don’t just equip girls with digital skills; we empower them to be leaders who shape the digital landscape. Our programs, such as coding and UI/UX design training, go beyond technical proficiency. We foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills, encouraging girls to use technology as a tool for positive change. While digital literacy is a powerful tool, it’s just one piece of the puzzle. We recognize the importance of holistic development for girls. Through our programs, girls explore areas like financial literacy, mental health awareness, and public speaking.
On the occasion of IDGC 2024, Genius Hub calls on all stakeholders involved to make sure the gender boundaries and barriers posed by stereotypes and exclusion are reduced and more girls begin to take action towards a brighter future.
Genius Hub Global Initiative invites you to join us in empowering girls. Through our programs, resources, and advocacy efforts, we are committed to creating a world where girls are not just heard, but empowered to lead the way.
