Over 300 exhibitors across the continents and 5,500 professionals in the cosmetics and hair value chain will be exploring opportunities to find new trade partners and build existing business relationships at the 2024 edition of the Beauty West Africa Conference and Exhibition.

Among exhibitors at this year’s event are vendors from the United States of America, China, Turkey, Pakistan, Korea, Egypt, Europe, and the United Arab Emirates.

Speaking in an interview with journalists recently, Senior Group Exhibition Manager BtoB Events and Convener of the Beauty West Africa Conference and Exhibition, Mr. Ken Baber, stated that the event is targeted at celebrating and promoting the craft of local entrepreneurs while also serving as a platform for participants to learn international best practices in the beauty and cosmetics industry.

Baber added that this year’s edition which is the fourth in the series of exhibitions organised by his team for the beauty and cosmetics industry will present bold new business perspectives for participants as the team has expanded it’s vendors based to accommodate more international partners.

“We are excited about the event’s annual popularity among visitors and exhibitors and we look forward to welcoming a huge number of participants to this year’s Beauty West Africa Conference.

“The extensive range of SMEs, importers, distributers, retailers and beauty and hair professionals all contribute to the success of Africa’s leading beauty, cosmetics event.

“The consistent increase in demand each year means we have had to expand into the fourth hall at the Landmark Exhibition Centre. With so many new products and businesses on display, we know our visitors from Nigeria and across West Africa will really appreciate the opportunities to find new trade partners and build on existing business relationships with our many exhibitors.”

Meanwhile, the Federation of West Africa Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI) has thrown its weight behind the conference by mobilizing players to create access to market within the African sub region.

A statement by FEWACCI noted that “by supporting Beauty West Africa 2024, FEWACCI is promoting the beauty and cosmetics industry as a key sector in the region’s growing economy. The event aligns with FEWACCI’s mission to enhance trade relations within ECOWAS and across the globe, allowing exhibitors and participants to access a lucrative marketplace.”

Participants will leverage opportunities presented in seminars, demonstrations and tutorials to improve their craft and learn new industry trends.
