Farmers to Benefit from NLTF’s Support As Adeyanju Commends Staff’s Dedication

To revolutionise Nigeria’s agricultural sector, the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) commenced efforts to support farmers nationwide. This ambitious project aims to enhance agricultural productivity, promote food security, and contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth.

Its Executive Secretary, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju, outlined NLTF’s food security plan for Nigeria during a meeting with Senator Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security.

“We are dedicated to delivering Good Causes and promoting social welfare. Our support for the agricultural sector is a strategic intervention aimed at empowering Nigerian farmers, enhancing food security, and stimulating economic growth.”

“We are committed to working closely with the Ministry of Agriculture and other stakeholders to ensure the success of this project. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of Nigerian rural farmers and contribute to the country’s development,” said Adeyanju.

Abdullahi praised NLTF’s commitment.

“This support will greatly benefit our farmers, especially those in rural areas. We appreciate NLTF’s dedication to Nigeria’s agricultural development,” the minister stated.

The NLTF’s intervention is expected to benefit millions of Nigerian rural farmers and vulnerable in rural areas. By enhancing agricultural productivity and promoting food security, this initiative will contribute significantly to Nigeria’s economic growth. 

Meanwhile, Adeyanju declared open a two-day training programme for staff from the finance, accounts, and audit departments of the NLTF.

While commending the staff for their unwavering dedication to their duties, he emphasised his commitment to building a knowledgeable and skilled workforce, stressing the importance of continuous capacity development.

“I am passionate about investing in our staff’s growth and development,” Adeyanju said. “This training is crucial for enhancing our team’s expertise and efficiency in delivering exceptional services. We must stay ahead of the curve in financial management, accounting, and auditing.”
