KSSTF Distributes 250 Vehicle, Vows to Fight Crimes

In line with the determination to tackle insecurity headlong, the Kogi State Security Trust Fund has distributed over 250 vehicles, 215 motorcycle, and refurbished no fewer than 120 operational vans to ease operations for the security agencies, Kogi Vigilance Services, and Local hunters.
The Executive Chairman of KSSTF, Abdulraheem Ohiare, disclosed this yesterday while presenting the refurbished operational vans to the head of the security agencies, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kogi State Council, and no fewer than 15 motorcycles were handed over to the operatives of the Department of the State Security.
Ohiare stated that this was not the first time since assumption of the office few months ago, stressing that this was necessitated by the determination to stem the tide of insecurity in Kogi State.
The executive chairman pointed out that the State Governor, Usman Ododo, is committed to fighting crimes and criminality.
Another beneficiary is the NUJ whose bus was grounded for many years back .
The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kogi State Council, Seidu Haruna, expressed gratitude to the executive chairman KSSTF for assisting the council to refurbish its bus which was moribund for several years now.
Haruna, therefore, pledged that the NUJ would continue to partner the KSSTF in its bid to curb insecurity in Kogi State .
