Uba Michael joins Leaders to attend Igede Day celebration in Ekiti

Managing Director of UBACLE Group, Chief Uba Michael has joined the people of Igede in Ekiti State to mark the Igede-Day Festival.

Igede Day which is a celebration of rich cultural heritage and vibrant community spirit held on Saturday, October 26 in Igede town.

Chief Michael described the event as a rich celebration and said he was happy to participate.

He said, “I’m indeed very happy to be here and to celebrate this auspicious occasion with the good people of Igede.

“I congratulate our father, the Onigede of Igede-Ekiti, HRM Oba James Adelusi Aladesuru II (JP) for a successful hosting and hope he experiences more of the annual celebration.

“It was wonderful seeing the celebration of another culture different from mine which establishes the fact that Nigeria is a very rich and diverse country culture-wise.

“I feel honored to be invited to witness this great day” he said.

He also congratulated the monarch on his 65th coronation anniversary at the age of 91.

He expressed his admiration for the community’s strong emphasis on education and the growth of their people, noting, “The Yoruba are a beautiful people, worthy of emulation.” He said

Uba Michael was invited to the event alongside His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Senate Leader Sen. Michael Opeyemi, and the Chairman of the Occasion, Her Excellency (Mrs) Modupe Jemibowen.

Additionally, Uba Michael congratulated former APC Senatorial Aspirant Arc. Adedeji Adekunle Adetuberu on receiving his Chieftaincy title.
