The Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Olayemi Cordoso; the Managing Director/CEO of First Bank Nigeria, Mr. Olusegun Alebiosu, and the Founder/CEO of the Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise (CPPE), Dr. Muda Yusuf, would feature at the “2024 Treasury360 Conference and Exhibition,” which is organised by the Association of Corporate Treasurers of Nigeria (ACTN).

This was announced recently by the President of ACTN, Mr. Adeyinka Ogunnubi, who disclosed that the theme of this year’s conference would be, “Policy Implications and Building Sustainable Treasury Strategies: Nigerian Perspectives on Tackling Inflation and Interest Rate Uncertainty.”

Ogunnubi stated that the theme was relevant given the economic challenges businesses were facing in Nigeria.
He said, “rising inflation and interest rate volatility are major concerns, and they demand that we, as corporate treasurers, adopt more resilient and sustainable financial strategies.”
According to him, Cardoso’s leadership in monetary policy and financial stability would make his participation highly anticipated because, “his insights will be invaluable as we discuss the role of corporate treasury in driving economic growth and financial stability in Nigeria.”

Ogunnubi added that the ACTN would be honoured to have distinguished keynote speakers to lead the conversation on critical treasury and economic issues.
These distinguished keynote speakers include the chief executive of FBN, Alebiosu, whose participation would be an incredible opportunity to gain firsthand insights from one of Nigeria’s leading finance executives on the challenges and strategies impacting the corporate treasury landscape.

Another speaker is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Director of Awarding Body and Learning at the Association of Corporate Treasurers, United Kingdom, Ms. Janet Legge, who “will share her expertise on global treasury standards, education, and the evolving role of treasurers in the global economy.”

In addition, Yusuf of the CPPE “will offer his unique perspectives on private sector growth, economic policies, and how businesses can adapt to the current economic landscape in Nigeria.”
According to the Ogunnubi, these keynote speakers “will provide deep insights on the intersections between policy, economics and treasury management, helping attendees better understand the broader macroeconomic implications for their organisations.”

The Treasury360 Conference and Exhibition will hold in Lagos,  on November 14, 2024.
