Senator Moro Lights Up Community in Benue

There was excitement  at Engila community in Agatu Local Government Area  of Benue South senatorial district as Senator  Abba Moro provided  electricity to the community with the provision of 500KVA transformer.

The lawmaker  got to know the need of the community through an appealed made to his office, without hesitation he directed that the community should be provided with transformer.

Speaking on behalf of the community the President General and Chairman of Engila Community Development Forum, Dr Godwin Adanu Joseph and Onuminya Elaigwu Peter said the provision of the transformer by the  has ameliorated the plight of their people.

The duo further explained that the community has never had it so good, stressing that Moro has written his name in the good book of the community 

“With the provision of this transformer, many lives will be transformed, some of our people that are into business that has to do with light  will heave a sigh of relieve as this will save them from spending much money on fuel to power their generators,” they stated.

They noted that Moro is more than a senator, saying since he assumed office to represent the good people of Benue South senatorial district , the Senate Minority Leader has touched many lives through his constituency projects.

Also, speaking the Village Head, Elder Emmanuel Abuh, thanked Senator Moro for remembering the community in his constituency projects.

Abuh maintained that he is happy to witness many good things that are happening in the community during his tenure.

“As Oliver Twist we are grateful, but still pleading with the senator to provide the community with portable water as the community source of water is not hygienic for drinking,”  he added.

Elder Abuh explained that the community will jealously guard the transformer from vandals, stressing that they have set up a local security team to guard it.

He used the opportunity to thanked sons and daughters of the community that have influenced the provision of the transformer and attracted other projects to the community.

He enjoined the people of the community to unite  to enable them attract development to the community.

He further urged them to start preparing for Engila day celebration slated for February next year.
