The contest saw kids displaying their creative talent in arts and craft using empty Indomie cartons.
According to the company, over 50,000 entries from 30 schools were received, out of which best 200 artworks were selected to feature at the grand finale, and subsequently, eight overall winners.

Mildred Kalu secured the 1st runner-up spot winning N100,000, followed by Oluchi Elenedu, 2nd runner-up, N75,000, and Gloria Bamisaiye emerged 3rd runner-up with a N50,000 cash reward.
Manager and Coordinator of IFC, Faith Joshua, stated further that the initiative offers engaging platform for children and parents to connect.
She added that the initiative was such that encourages children to ‘Dream it and Craft it’.
“This is an anecdote to encourage creativity and recycling rather than an arbitrary disposal of emptied Indomie cartons,” she said.
On his part, Group Corporate Communications and Events Manager, Dufil Prima Foods, Temitope Ashiwaju reiterated that the motive of the initiative was to awake children’s consciousness about transforming waste to wealth.
“One of the beautiful aspects of this initiative is how the children of the fan club are being introduced to the concept of creating wealth from waste. These impressive artworks by the kid prodigies can be auctioned, enabling children, parents and educators to convert creativity into tangible financial benefits, still making room for resourcefulness and eco-awareness”, he said.
