Realtor Narrates Journey into Real Estate Industry

Angel Ogbue is the founder of Mac Angeloh Ventures, a real estate company in Nigeria. She faced challenges in land acquisition and development early in her career but turned these into opportunities to achieve significant success. Her determination and focus on client satisfaction helped her overcome these obstacles and build a thriving business.

When her company took off the ground in 2009, one of the major issues she encountered was dealing with faulty property titles and delays in land documentation. “Back then, getting the right documentation for a property could take forever,” she recalls. “It was frustrating for both me and my clients because projects couldn’t move forward without those legal papers in place.”

The delays often caused tension with clients who had already invested money and were eager to see progress. But instead of letting the situation defeat her, Angel took proactive steps to solve the problem.

Ogbue began working closely with local authorities and legal experts to streamline the process and ensure her clients’ investments were protected.

She reflected: “I knew I had to figure out a way to solve this issue if I wanted to keep my clients happy.

“So, I started building strong relationships with land officers and legal advisors to make sure everything was done properly and quickly.”

Her hands-on approach paid off, and today, Mac Angeloh Ventures is known for its smooth, transparent process when it comes to acquiring and developing properties.

According to her, clients trust her and her team to handle all the paperwork, ensuring there are no nasty surprises down the line.

“When you solve these problems ahead of time, it gives your clients peace of mind,” says Ogbue “That’s what keeps them coming back.”

The founder’s ability to face challenges head-on has been a key factor in her success. By focusing on finding solutions, she’s built a business that clients can rely on, even when things get tough.

“In real estate, you’re going to face obstacles, but you can’t let them stop you. You just have to keep pushing and find a way through,” she added.
