The name, Zeya is gradually becoming a household one in Southeast England popularised by Afro-centric music aimed at Christian worship and soulful upliftment.
Born Precious Chidi but fondly known as Zeya, Nigerian-UK emerging Afro Gospel recording artist has released a new album tited, “Son Of Mercy”.
The “Son Of Mercy,” album which was released in early October 2024, with a sold-out reveal event in Southeast England is currently rocking the airwaves in many radio stations and worship centres.
According to Zeya, “my kind of music aims at encouraging worship and drawing our soul closer to God as we all embark upon the path of our creator’s plan and destiny for our lives. Whether we are striving positively, or perhaps, falling and inconsistent in our journeys, we all needed encouragement, a promise of hope and fulfillment. That’s what my music do.”
“Right now, “Son Of Mercy,” album is gaining momentum. The Brits are resonating with the message of love, kindness, mercy and abundance in God’s corridor. I am hopeful that this message will spread far beyond England into Nigeria, Africa and the world at large,” he added.
Zeya’s music enjoys thousands of streams across digital platforms and is featured on numerous playlists frequented by listeners daily.
Growing up in a family of musicians and surrounded by various genres, Zeya has carved a niche for himself in Southeast England. Specializing in Reggae, Afro, and Worship. He writes his own songs, drawing inspiration from his past and the challenges he has faced.
